STM Myth Backpack, the backpack for all tech lovers

Updated: Feb 28, 2023

Hi everyone, it's Adam again, right back at you with another review, but today I have something slightly different for you all, the STM Myth Backpack which has become my main backpack for the past week or so. So what makes this Backpack so special? Let's dive into it! (not literally, I mean the Backpack is big, but I'm way too tall to fit inside of it)

So first of all let's talk about the protection that this bag offers. For the past 3 years I've been using a North Face bag which is really good, and has held up well but there's no way I would ever put my laptop without an extra case in side of it because there is absolutely no protection and I would probably have a damaged laptop which is not something you really want. With this backpack it has protection on the bottom and around the sides of the bag which means I can comfortably throw my MacBook Pro in there without a case or with a slim case, like the one I have from Grams28 which is a super premium experience altogether. There is even a slot for your MacBook which perfectly fits my 14” MacBook Pro with my folio Grams28 case or without. I definitely feel more comfortable leaving my MacBook Pro inside of this backpack and I know it will be safer than my old bag.

In terms of features there are two stand out features for me and a few other nice to haves. The main two for me at least, include the extra protection (as mentioned above) and the large range of pockets and compartments inside of the bag. I find it super handy to have so many compartments that I can use to store my stuff while I'm on the go! I can have my keys, my glasses, any cables and plugs that I may need or even my AirPods! Another cool feature of this bag is that you can feed a cable through to the front pocket and even to the outside of the bag, which means you don't have to carry your portable charger around with you, you can just throw it in to your bag and feed your cable through to charge your phone on the go! Also, they have added these extended straps with extra padded cushions around your back which makes this bag so much more comfortable than other bags, especially for extended use, which is very important while travelling.

And for Apple fans I can confirm that I was able to fit my MacBook Pro 14, my iPad Pro 11”, my iPad mini and my AirPods max in this bag alongside a lot of other accessories with struggle at all.

Other than features and comfort, this is still a solid looking bag. It comes in a few different colours including the grey colour I have and a cool blue colour. I love the contrast of the light grey and black on the bag I have, it looks so clean and matches my leather AirTag loop perfectly.

So should you buy it? I mean considering it costs the same as a lot of bags on the market including the North Face one I was using before this, I would say it's definitely worth it. You get so many added features which just make travelling with all of your tech goodies so much easier and safer. It's also very high quality so you should be able to rock this backpack for a few years! This will be my main bag, likely for a the next few years, because I really like the strong materials used and the overall design of the bag, it means I can easily travel with all of my tech essentials!

Thank you for reading my short review of this amazing backpack, and I hope you all learnt something new today!
